Cable Franchise

A Franchise is essentially a contract that permits a cable operator to provide cable services and other legally authorized communications services in each of the five Member Cities. Each Member City has adopted a Franchise in the form of a City ordinance. The SWSCC enforces such ordinances on behalf of the residents and cable subscribers in the Member Cities.
